MICHAEL PHELPS MAKES SPEEDO APPEARANCE IN BERLIN

Berlin, 13.11.09: The most decorated swimmer ever, Speedo sponsored Michael Phelps, held an exclusive autograph signing session in Berlin before this weekend’s World Cup competition. The session took part at Intersport in Alexa at the Alexander Platz who stock a selection of Speedo swimwear.

Eager fans began lining up for an opportunity to meet their hero for two hours before the store opened its doors this morning at 10.00 am. The store was full of excited fans and Michael ensured that all of them got his personal autograph whether on T-Shirts, books, photographs - and even clothing being worn!

Michael came straight from morning swimming training to see his fans. Phelps is here to compete at the World Cup competition in Berlin and it is his first stay in Berlin.

Michael will begin competition tomorrow wearing a Speedo FASTSKIN PRO Jammer, in preparation for the FINA 2010 swimsuit rules, which commence on January 1st.
